This page is dedicated to Rencontres de Noirmoutier participants

Learn how disciplines as diverse as physics, astrophysics, neuroscience, philosophy, and psychology approach the concept of time.

And also share experiences of time, particularly with Lauren Marks, author of “A Stitch of Time,” who, after a stroke, had a very unique experience of reality and time.

A day to take the time to listen, to exchange ideas, to savor time.



A day open to all

French and English speakers,

thanks to an online transcript,

to the symposium’s scientists and the local public.

And at the end of the day, a moment of respite with a choral performance by the Mikrokosmos group.
